Our contract with you

When you place an order with us, your order is classed as an offer which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product. This might be because the product is out of stock, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.

Unfortunately, we are not able deliver orders currently, this will be changing once our online shop goes live.

Product description and substitution

​

Products and their packaging may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only.

Where you have provided your consent for us to do so we may substitute part or all of the product you have ordered for a similar product of an equivalent or greater value. The price of your order will not change.

Where you have indicated that you do not want a substitute product or having consented to receiving a substitute, a suitable substitute is not available, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to either cancel your order or wait for the affected product to become available.

Your right to make changes

​

If you wish to make a change to the product you have ordered please contact us and we will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible we will let you know about any changes to the price of your order, the timing of supply or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change.

Delivery

​

Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will deliver all products as close to the delivery date/time requested by you as reasonably possible. It is always best if someone is available to receive and sign for the delivery, however you can arrange for us to leave the goods without a signature if you are not going to be in.

If you have any questions or issues with your delivery, it is best to contact us as a first point of call. If delivery is delayed then we will contact you to let you know and we will attempt to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this and the delay is caused by an event outside of our control we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.

The products will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product to the address you gave. You own the product once we have accepted your order and received payment in full.

Quality concerns

​

We take great pride in the quality and condition of our products and they should reach you in the best possible condition. When you receive your order, please open it right away, loosen the wrapping and inspect them. If you aren’t happy with what you find, please call us immediately and if possible take some pictures. We will do our best to put it right. If you’d like a replacement order, we can send that out for you or if you would rather just have your money back, we can do that too. We do ask that you contact us with regards to quality concerns within 7 days of receipt of the order.

Iris Lifestyle [trading as Wilkinson’s of Shelford Limited] (“we”, “us” or “our” or "Iris LIfestyle" or “Shelford Deli”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and using any information you provide to us responsibly.

• We will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you have requested from us.

• Understanding how people use our website helps us to improve it, making the experience smoother and more interactive. For this reason, we collect basic usage data but it is not personally identifiable.

  • We never collect credit or debit card information and we never store your payment details. Payments on our Site are made through our payment solutions providers. You will be providing credit or debit card information direct to our providers who process payment details in a secure manner.

  • information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our suppliers/partners. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and we do not link this information to personal identifiers of our Site users.

  • information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is typically stored on the hard drive of your computer (as with most websites). Detailed information about our use of cookies is set out in Part 2 of this policy.


2. Where/how we store your information

The information that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our partners/suppliers. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. We do not add the recipient to our mailing list or share their details with a third party. If they wish to receive our email newsletter, the recipient may visit our Site and sign up.
  • We use return email addresses to answer the emails we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

   • You can register with our Site if you would like to receive email updates on our new products and services. Information you submit on our Site will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the registration form. Once you join our email newsletter list, you may change your choice at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email or by contacting us as set out above.
